Vaccinations are one of the most effective ways to protect children from serious illnesses. At Prestige Pediatrics, we follow the CDC-recommended vaccine schedule, which is backed by decades of research to ensure children are protected at the safest and most effective times.
However, we do not require vaccines to remain in our practice. We understand that some families may prefer alternate or delayed schedules, and we welcome respectful, informed conversations. Our goal is to partner with you and support your family in making confident, evidence-based decisions about your child’s care.
Vaccine availability varies by office:
- At our Canton office, vaccines are available only for patients with commercial insurance.
- At our Jasper office, we offer vaccines for all patients—including those with commercial insurance, state insurance (like Medicaid/PeachCare), or no insurance.
Wondering how we can support your parenting goals while keeping your child safe and healthy? Schedule a consultation with us today using our easy online scheduling tool—we’d love to meet you!
Our commitment extends beyond immunizations. Well-child visits are essential milestones to monitor your child’s overall development. From birth through age two, these visits occur frequently to monitor growth, address concerns, and ensure vaccinations are administered on time. After age two, we recommend annual checkups to maintain a proactive healthcare plan.
During flu season, we also offer flu vaccines to help protect your family. Unfortunately, we do not offer COVID-19 vaccines at our clinic, but our team is happy to guide you to trustworthy providers.
The CDC-recommended vaccine schedule is created based on extensive scientific research and reviews by public health experts. It ensures children receive vaccinations at the ideal ages, protecting them when they are most vulnerable to certain diseases. We trust this schedule because it represents the gold standard for pediatric health. Still, we’re here to discuss any concerns and respect each family’s unique medical and cultural considerations.
Yes! We understand that every parent has different preferences or concerns. While the CDC schedule is evidence-based and tested for safety and effectiveness, we’re open to customizing plans to suit your family’s needs. Our team aims to educate and support you with honest, respectful dialogue so we can work together to make the best decisions for your child.
Life happens, and sometimes vaccines are skipped or delayed. That’s okay! We’re here to get your child back on track with a catch-up schedule that prioritizes their ongoing health and safety. Simply schedule a visit, and we’ll create a tailored plan to update their records and protect them moving forward.
At Prestige Pediatrics, we make scheduling easy for busy parents. Use our online booking system to choose a time that fits your schedule, or call our office to speak with a care coordinator. We look forward to helping your child stay healthy and thrive!
